Creating and changing a course

A course is something your academy teaches. Owners and anyone whose role can manage Courses can create and change them; everyone who works with groups can see them.

Create a course

In Teaching, open Courses and press Create course.
Enter the Course name.
Enter the Number of sessions. Every group of this course gets this many sessions.
Enter the Price. A group of this course starts at this price. For a course nobody pays for, tick Free course instead: the price is left empty, and a student enrolled in any of its groups gets no fee.
Add a Description and a Picture if you like. Both are optional.
Press Save. The course appears in the list.

You can also create a course while creating a group: press + Create course under the course list, and fill in its name, number of sessions and price, or tick Free course. See Creating a group.

Change or delete a course

To change a course, press the pencil beside it, change what you need, and press Save. Groups already made keep their own price and sessions.
To delete a course, press the bin beside it and confirm. A course a group teaches cannot be deleted.

If something goes wrong

Give the course a name., Say how many sessions it runs for. or Give the course a price above zero.
A required field is empty. Fill it in. A course with no price needs Free course ticked.
That could not be saved. Try again.
The course was not saved. Try again.
