Your card, catalogue and services

Learners find you on Tuevia — in the Explore directory and in the learners app — by your card. Opening it shows your catalogue: the courses you offer, and your services beside them. All three are set up on Settings → Branding.

Only the academy’s owner can edit and publish the card, and change the catalogue and services.

My academy card shows your card as somebody searching for an academy sees it, with Published or Not published beside it.

  1. Click the card, or press Edit card.

  2. Change what it says: the Logo, the Name on the card, What you are (An academy or Teaching alone), What you teach (up to three tags), About your academy, and the Email on your page, where requests reach you.

  3. For a tag Tuevia does not have, choose + Add a new tag, type its name and press Add.

  4. Press Publish my card the first time, or Update my card after.

How it will look shows the card as you type. Where you teach comes from your branches, and the numbers of students and groups are counted for you. Once published, your card is in the directory, and learners can ask you for a place.

Catalogue, beside the card, shows every course you teach as a tile. A new course is hidden until you show it.

  • The eye in a tile’s corner shows the course to learners, or hides it. Hidden marks the ones they cannot see.
  • Click a tile to open the course. Its picture and description are the course’s own: change them in Teaching → Courses. Tick Show the price for learners to see the course’s price beside it. Press Save.

In your catalogue, each course has Join course: a learner who presses it asks you for a place in that course, and their request says so.

Services are what you offer besides your courses: an exam, a consultation, private lessons. Learners see them under a Services tab in your catalogue, beside the courses, and can ask about each.

  1. Under Services, press Add service.

  2. Enter its Name, and What learners read if you like.

  3. Enter a Price in EGP (optional), or leave it empty to show no price.

  4. Press Save.

  • Click a service to change it, or to remove it with Remove service.
  • The arrows on its row move it up or down the tab.

A request about a service shows About the service and its name in Requests.

The Services tab appears in your catalogue once you have a service, and the catalogue shows only the services when you have no course to show.
