Recording the first payment
A payment is recorded against a fee agreement: what a student has agreed to pay, and when. So the first payment is two steps: the agreement, then the money. Owners, admins, and anyone allowed to manage Student Fees can do both.
Agree the fee
Section titled “Agree the fee”The student must be enrolled in a running group, as they are once the group is open.
-
In Finance, open Fees and press New Student Pay.
-
In Student Name, type part of the student’s name and choose them from the list.
-
In Group, choose their group.
-
Under Payment Type, choose Monthly or One Time, and enter what they pay in Total Amount (EGP).
-
Enter the Start Date, and for monthly payments choose Months to Pay.
-
Press Create Student Pay.
Leave Deposit Amount (EGP) empty: the agreement does not keep it. If the student pays something today, record it as a payment, below.
